Magazine Front Cover Conventions

After studying 3 different magazine front covers I have started to learn more about the conventions of a magazine front cover.
One of the main conventions that is similar throughout every magazine is that the Masthead is usually at the top of the page.
The Main Feature and Main Image is usually in the middle of the page. The Barcode, Price, Date and Issue Number tends to be at the bottom of the cover, though the date can sometimes be found under the masthead.
The Skyline is a strip of text above the Masthead, usually to promote/advertise something.
Cover Lines are usually placed on the sides of the cover, around the main feature.
Sell Line used to grab the readers attention and make the magazine more appealing than others.
